YAY! My new Erin Condren Life Planner came today. Every summer I get excited about ordering a new planner! There are always new designs, styles, accessories, etc. to go with them. I am not very OCD in all aspects of my life, but I am very OCD about planning and organizing. If you look around my house you will see multiple lists I have going. What to pack for a trip, grocery lists, summer to-do lists, etc. My Life Planner is my LIFE, so if something happened to it, I would probably crumble.
Obviously, you can see that I have been a HUGE Erin Condren fan for a few years now. This year makes my sixth life planner purchase and I have never been disappointed. I also have an address book from her site that I love. There are other planners on there, wedding planners, teacher planners, etc., so it’s not just about planning LIFE, that’s just where I need the most help apparently.
I have a husband and two kids, and we all have different activities going on, so the Life Planner is the perfect way to keep track of everything. It sits at the end of my kitchen counter so that it’s easily accessible to everyone, and my husband even knows to look at it when he wants to plan something or see if I have plans. Previously, they were divided vertically into morning, afternoon, and night. That’s all I was used to doing and this year they decided to offer up a horizontal layout.
If you know me, you know I HATE change, but I choose to try out the horizontal layout anyway. In a few months I will post again and let you know how it’s going! I am wondering if it will end up looking too cluttered without it being divided into blocks like I am used to. I am looking forward to moving everyone over to my new planner starting in August. The planner itself comes with some stickers in the back for various occasions and even some blank stickers to write in what you need, but I also decided to buy a bunch of different stickers on Etsy to make mine more personal this year. I even bought some washi tape!
In the back of the planner there is a little clear pouch to keep all your stickers and anything else you need, a mini occasion booklet you can keep up with birthdays and anniversaries, in, some blank notebook pages for notes, and a folder pocket. It also comes with a plastic divider you can use to keep track of what month/week you are on if you’re needing to close it and take it with you. There are lots of accessories you can buy to go with your planner. This year I bought a pack of pens and 2 note pads. For those of you who have a Life Planner, I’d love to see how you use it! Especially if you decided to go the horizontal route this year.
