In an effort to get back into shape, I bought a Fitbit One a year or so ago. This is the small one that you clip to your pants or stick in your pocket. I was instantly hooked and constantly checking my data. I am not a very active person and since I work from home I spend a lot of time sitting, so I was only getting around 5000 steps a day which is only HALF of their recommended 10,000. After about a year of usage I lost it and when I finally found it I wanted to start jogging/walking every day and really getting into exercising. I hated having nowhere to out the One and was scared it was always going to fall off my workout pants, so my hubby surprised me with the Charge. The Charge is AWESOME! I love having it on my wrist instead of having to keep sticking it in a pocket or clip it on. The Charge tracks steps, distance, floors, calories burned, and active minutes. It has a watch display and caller ID so you can see who is calling even if your phone is not nearby. At night the Charge monitors your sleep automatically and you can see a graph or your awake, asleep, and restless periods. Using the Fitbit app or dashboard you can track things such as workouts, goals, weight, water intake, food, compete with friends in challenges, cheer your friends on, etc. I have slowly started increasing my goals and have come a lot way since I first put a Fitbit on. I am now getting around 8,000 to 10,000 steps a day, walking more miles, love competing in challenges, and I am trying to out-step all my friends! Thanks to Fitbit making fitness fun, I look forward to waking up every day and lacing up my shoes for a run!
